Rier Industries acquires a screen print company to increase product offerings to include screen print graphics.
Swift
Swift Components Corporation is founded.
Kristen Danson
Kristen Danson joins Rier Industries / Swift Components Corporation.
Mito
MitoGraphics Inc. (aka “Mito”) is created as a specialty graphics imaging & signage manufacturing firm.
Digital Imaging
MitoGraphics Inc. diversifies to offer digital imaging to increase product range.
Growth
Additional manufacturing space is added to the production facility to accommodate growth.
Acid Etching
MitoGraphics adds acid etching to its capabilities.

Meet the Team
Sheldon Rier
Sheldon has been creating, making, innovating and printing since 1982 when he founded Rier Industries Limited. Over the past 37 years, he has been committed to the continuous pursuit of the latest in technology of every kind – equipment, inks, software and print methodology. Though his roots will always be screen printing, Sheldon’s passion for the signage industry and digital technology has been key in the growth of MitoGraphics Inc.
When Sheldon is not at work, he also has a deep passion for cars, trucks and motorcycles; with a focus on vehicles from the 20’s and 30’s.
Kristen Danson
Kristen began her career in the graphics industry in 1999, and has since focused on the Graphics for Industry products and client sector. Kristen has partnered with many clients to support product development for high tech and industrial applications; working from the prototype stage through to volume production.
Kristen participates on the SGIA Industry Committee for Printed Electronics and Industrial Graphics. Locally, Kristen also serves on the Board of Directors for The Cambridge Chamber of Commerce and The Cambridge Self Help Food Bank (Vice Chair).
